10 Appealing Tips to Master in SSC CGLTier I 2016

Success alwayts comes when preparation meets opportunity”. The excitement of SSC CGL is in the air and everyone is busy preparing the ground for it. But, in order to succeed, all you need to have is sincere efforts and self confidence. You must dedicate fixed hours (may be 7 to 8 hours) a day for your preparation. It will be helpful to make a list of topics you want to prepare in a day rather than making a time-table.

Important updates about SSC CGL 2016:

  • The age of the candidates appearing for the examination shall now be calculated as on 1st August 2016 instead of calculating as on 01st January.

  • The interview section of the examination has been eliminated from this year. So, there shall be no conduction of interviews.

Some of the tips which will help you boost up your preparation for “Mission SSC CGL”:

a. Keep your study hours short but keep those hours immensly productive. Take periodic intervals in between which will help you concentrate in a better way.

b. Eat light and avoid greasy foods. This will help spare yourself from drowsiness and lethargy and you will be able focus on your preparation.

c. Try to practice mock tests as this practice will help you re- exercise all the concepts and enhance your level of confidence.

d. Prepare flash cards/ memo notes of important dates, events, formulaes and notes. It will help you memorize things easily.

e. Try to sleep for at least 7 hours a day. A sound sleep is highly essential for a healthy mind and body.

f. Try to focus on the important topics. Pratice sample questions from those topics.

g. “Learn and revise” is the evergreen mantra of success in examinations like SSC CGL .

h. Spot out your weak areas and work hard on them. Try to dedicate some extra time slot for those areas.

i. Investigate some of the important and recommended books and test papers and practice questions from them.

j. Last but not the least, believe in yourself because “If you believe in yourself, anything is possible”.
